What’s our worship like?
Sunday services last an hour (except the Oxygen service, on the first Sunday evening
of every month which usually last a little longer and has a contemporary feel);
Sunday morning services usually follow a traditional Methodist style, mainly using
hymns but also some contemporary worship from Songs of Fellowship as well as other
sources;
The Oxygen worship band leads the worship around once a month on Sunday mornings;
The youth and kids join the main service for the first 20 minutes or so before leaving
for their own age groupactivities;
Communion is led from the Methodist Service Book (see notice sheet for when this
is). Children start in Wacky Worship before joining the main church for communion;
Sunday Evening services follow a traditional format of hymns, Bible readings and
preaching (excpet for Oxygen on the first Sunday evening of each month.
We try to cater for most tastes and styles but more importantly our worship is God
centred. We believe that God deserves our worship, and wants us to draw near to
Him as we meet together.
